SLAT: A month long course where your mouth is taught how to do things it has never done before, and you learn really cool words like “Voiced Velar Fricative” (which we have in Mongolian, by the way. Pay attention when they talk about it).
When you arrive in UB on July 24th, we’ll have a spread of boiled mutton and horse steaks ready (actually An-Hoa Pham’s horse steaks are “da bomb”!). The fermented Mare’s Milk is seriously at it’s best that time of year, as well.
Can’t wait to see you! We’ll be praying for these couple of month’s of transition. Don’t blink. They go by fast.

Hey, it’s Sheryl from Alliance Bible Church in Waco, Texas. Just hoping you received the small box from us for some needed items. We were so pleased to be able to help in this way. We continue to pray for our newest addition to the SW District, and are extremely excited about how the Lord will use your family in Mongolia. Please include us in your prayer/newsletter mailing list when you get established. We have a “missions moment” where we would love to introduce you to our church family. Two families in our SW District have left from our church: The Baldwins in the Dominican Republic and the Wolskes in CAC. They have all transitioned well and are doing great and exciting things for the Lord. Be encouraged, I know the change is hard and stressful especially for Annika and Toby.
Blessings

Blessings to you all, we will be praying for you and I will be thinking in detail of your transitions. Say hello to the gang for me, and give An-Hoa a big hug for me. I am sure Dennis will help you with the mongalian potatoes. Ah if only I were younger!!

Hello Mark and Cinda,
You may not remember me but I’m with Alliance Bible Church in North Little Rock. Cinda, we talked a bit at our last women’s retreat at Pinecrest. I have the good fortune to be able to represent your family to our church during Missionary Moments. Please add me to your newsletter mailing list. Please let us know about your specific needs and prayer requests. So many in our church will be excited to hear about your adventure. Until we hear back from you, we will pray for your preparation and arrival in Mongolia in just a few weeks. We will hold this transition in prayer, trusting God to grant you His favor even in the details. I greatly look forward to hearing from you soon. God be with you! Linda DuPuy
